QUICK + EASY ENTERTAINING TIPS

cumin-scented potatoes

Adding a little cumin to the warm potatoes gently infuses them with a subtle smoky flavor. Because these are so easy to make, they are perfect for entertaining, simply adjust the amount of cumin based on number of potatoes you’re using, or to taste.

3-4 small Yukon gold potatoes
1/4 teaspoon cumin
Salt, to taste
Freshly ground black pepper
1-2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil


1. Place potatoes in a pot of cold, salted water and bring to a boil. Cook until tender and can be easily pierced with fork, about 15 minutes, depending on size of potatoes. Drain and transfer to a medium bowl. Toss warm potatoes with cumin, salt and pepper. Drizzle with olive oil and set aside.
2. Preheat grill or grill pan to medium heat. Place potatoes on grill and cook until light grill marks form, about 5 minutes. Serve warm.

Serves 1.
