This is my menu for Thanksgiving this year. Last year was my first time making individual turkey breasts rather than a whole turkey, and it’s a much more manageable way to go if you are cooking for yourself, or for only a few people. Some of the stuffing is rolled inside the turkey; seared and then finished in the oven. The result is a crispy, moist turkey that’s perfectly delicious. The rest of the meal is pretty classic, with a few updated flavors like Brussels sprouts as a side dish and a slightly healthier crust for a traditional pumpkin pie.

Menu includes: sweet potato biscuits with honey butter, roasted turkey with caramelized onion + mushroom stuffing, shaved brussels sprouts with shallots, garlic mashed potatoes, cranberry chutney, pumpkin pie with whole-wheat crust.
