QUICK + EASY ENTERTAINING TIPS

grilled swordfish with cumin-lime coleslaw

A crunchy, fresh coleslaw is a perfect side dish for simple grilled fish.

6 ounces swordfish steak
Extra virgin olive oil
Salt, to taste
Freshly ground black pepper

Cumin-Lime Coleslaw
1/4 head green cabbage
1/8 red onion, thinly sliced
1 tablespoon fresh cilantro, hand torn
Salt, to taste
Freshly ground black pepper
Pinch of cumin
Juice from 1/2 lime
2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil

1. Preheat grill or grill pan to medium heat. Brush swordfish on each side with olive oil and season with salt and pepper. Place swordfish on grill and cook for 5-7 minutes per side, or until desired doneness.
2. Remove any tough outer pieces of cabbage and cut away the core. Shred cabbage (or thinly slice) and place in a bowl with red onion and cilantro and season with salt and pepper. Set aside.
3. In a small bowl, combine cumin, lime juice and olive oil. Pour over coleslaw and toss to combine. Serve with grilled swordfish.

Serves 1.
