QUICK + EASY ENTERTAINING TIPS

There are so many different ways to make fish tacos, and for what to put on them, that it really just comes down to what you like. For me, this is a light and healthy way to start by baking the fish, simply dusted with a few spices for added flavor. After that, the topping options are endless, with a few of my favorite recommendations listed below.

4 ounces fresh cod (or other white fish)
Cooking spray
Juice from 1/2 lime
1 teaspoon chili powder
1 teaspoon cumin
Freshly ground black pepper
1 flour tortilla

Toppings
Red onion, thinly sliced
Cabbage, thinly sliced
Fresh cilantro, hand torn
Sour cream
Hot sauce
Salsa
Guacamole
Fresh lime juice

Preheat oven to 350°F. Spray bottom of a baking dish with cooking spray. Place fish in baking dish and top with lime juice, chili powder, cumin and pepper. Allow to marinate at room temperature for 5-10 minutes. Transfer baking dish to oven and bake for about 10 minutes, until fish is firm and cooked through. Serve fish in tortilla with desired toppings.

Serves 1.
