QUICK + EASY ENTERTAINING TIPS

mango margarita

A week’s vacation in Mexico was all it took to become completely addicted to this drink. I began making them at home to try my best to recreate the flavors I had every day while siting on the beach. This frozen version is so delicious you might just forget it has alcohol in it so be careful. I like to make these really thick, like the consistency of a smoothie but you can adjust the consistency to your own liking, depending on how thick you want yours to be.

Ice, for blending
2-3 ounces tequila, or to taste
4 ounces frozen mango chunks
1/2 cup margarita mix
1 splash triple sec
Juice from 1/2 lime , plus extra for serving
Lime slice, for garnish

Fill a blender 1/4 full of ice and chop. Add tequila and purée until smooth. Add mango, triple sec, margarita mix and lime juice and process until smooth (add more liquid if necessary). Add lime slice and an extra drizzle of lime juice over the top and serve immediately.

Serves 1.
