Last night I had my first cooking demonstration, Cooking for 2 for Valentine’s Day, at Whole Foods Market in Dedham. Many thanks to marketing team leader, Lauren Klatsky, for inviting me to be a part of their February schedule.
The evening started with a simple mushroom carpaccio with winter greens, followed by one of my favorite dishes, chicken piccata. Chicken piccata is a classic dish that’s not only perfect for Valentine’s Day, but for a quick meal anytime you need it. Simple, easy (all in one pan) and delicious. For dessert, I shared with the audience one of the easiest (and quickest) desserts you’ll ever make, lemon mousse. Light and airy with a tangy lemon flavor, this dessert will leave you wanting more every time.
Lemon lovers rejoiced…and the few lemon skeptics proclaimed all of the recipes a huge hit. Thanks again to everyone at Whole Foods for making the night a great success!
